Fishbattery acts as the data controller for personal data collected through the service.
We collect account information you provide, such as email address, username, and profile data.
We may also collect technical data such as IP address and usage data for security and performance purposes.
If you subscribe to premium, billing is handled by Stripe. We do not store payment details,
only subscription status and related metadata.
Usage data is collected in an aggregated or pseudonymized form where possible, and is used solely to improve performance and reliability.
We only collect data that is necessary to provide and improve the service.
We use your data to:
- Authenticate your account
- Provide optional cloud sync
- Manage subscriptions
- Improve product performance and reliability
- Prevent abuse and ensure service integrity
We process your data under the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract (account and service functionality)
- Legitimate interests (such as preventing abuse, ensuring security, and improving performance, where these interests are not overridden by your rights)
- Legal obligations where applicable
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Upon deletion, personal data is permanently deleted or anonymized within a reasonable timeframe, unless retention is required for legal obligations.
Your data may be stored and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. This includes infrastructure providers such as Railway and Stripe.

We do not sell personal data. We do not redistribute mods or paid third-party content.
We use third-party providers for infrastructure and payments, including Railway, GitHub, and Stripe. Their respective terms and privacy policies apply where relevant.
We use local storage for authentication, consent preferences, and core functionality. Third-party advertising scripts are only loaded after explicit consent. You can reject ad cookies and still use core website features.
Sponsored placements in the launcher and website are static and clearly labeled. We do not use autoplay ads or full-screen overlays. Premium and Founder plans receive an ad-free experience.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Fishbattery. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Significant changes will be communicated through the website or application.
